Ivy Marie (McCulloch) Warsinski MD Dr. Ivy Marie (McCulloch) Warsinski MD, 68, passed away on black Friday November, 2013, unexpectedly, at home in Arizona with her Loving husband and partner in life of 50 + years Michael V. Warsinski, holding and comforting her. Ivy graduated from Port Huron St. Stephens high school in 1963, western Michigan University 1976 and Michigan State college of human medicine in 1984, and retired as a Diagnostic and Interventional radiologist, who was devoted to helping others. The family cherishes all of the good times that we shared but we will never let her go, as she will always be in our hearts and minds. Our hearts are broken and each day does not get easier rather more difficult as we recall the history and memories of this beautiful and amazing person she became despite adversities. Waddell, E. Jean  
E. Jean Waddell Marysville E. Jean Waddell, 97, of Marysville, died Tuesday, December 16, 2014. She was born March 16, 1917 in Port Huron to the late Jay and Laura Cleland. She married A. Thomas Waddell on October 27, 1938 in Port Huron. He died December 3, 1985. Mrs. Waddell was a lifelong member of Sturges Memorial Congregational Church where she served as the clerk, Sunday School teacher, pianist and sang in the choir. A talented artist her whole life, she taught china painting since 1946. She was a member of the Porcelain Portrait Society, the China Painters Teachers Association and the International Porcelain Artists & Teachers Association. She was a life member of Cornell Chapter #93 O.E.S, a member of the Daughters of the Revolution, Questers, and the Museum of Arts and History. She is survived by a son, Sandford T. (Madeleine) Waddell; three grandchildren, Andrew (Tomoko) Waddell, Jacob (Pamela) Wallin and Johanna (Vincent) Pilette; four great grandchildren; several nieces, including Cheri Waddell Webster, a nephew; and longtime friends, Beverly Little Walker, Sang (Eun) Han and Darla Vansach. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Jean Waddell in 1974. Visitation will be 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Thursday in Marysville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, December 19, 2014 in Sturges Memorial Congregational Church. The Reverend Robert Harrell will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeside Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Jack Lavis, Nick Lucas, Sang Han and Allen Little. Memorial contributions may be made to Sturges Memorial Congregational Church. Ward, William  
William P. Ward Fort Gratiot William P. Ward, 82 of Fort Gratiot, formerly of Lakeport, passed away surrounded by his family Saturday, December 13, 2014. He was born February 22, 1932 in Port Huron to the late James P. and Ruth Ward. He married Gloria P. Skedel on August 25, 1956 in St. Stephens Catholic Church. Mr. Ward was a graduate of Marysville High School. He served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. Also, while stationed in Germany he played for the army football team. He worked for Prestolite for 40 years and also served as a Special Deputy for the St. Clair County Sheriff Department for 37 years. Mr. Ward was an avid outdoorsman, loved hunting, fishing, boating and snowmobiling. He was a member of the National Fraternal Order of Police, American Legion Marysville Post #449, V.F.W. May O'Brien Post #8465 and the Knights of Columbus Council 8274.  He was a parishioner of St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church for 58 years. He is survived by his wife, Gloria; sons, James J. (Betty) Ward, Patrick W. (Krista) Ward, Timothy M. (Lynn) Ward and Dennis P. (Stephanie) Ward; grandchildren, Andrew J. Ward, Erin (Michael) Kruszewski, Daniel P. (Taylor) Ward, Brian J. Ward, Bradley T. Ward, Veronica A. Ward, Phoebe J. Ward and Jake R. Ward; great grandson, Ellis W. Ward; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters. Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 7-9 pm Tuesday in Karrer-Simpson Funeral Home and from 9:00 am until the time of service Wednesday at church. A Rosary will be recited by the Knights of Columbus at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home. Mass of Resurrection will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, December 17, 2014 in St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church. The Reverend Lee Acervo will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.  Military honors will be conducted by the Veteran's Honor Guard Alliance and the U.S. Army. Memorials may be made to St. Edward on the Lake Catholic Church.
