Ladd, Karen  
Karen Mary Ladd Marysville Karen Mary Ladd, 50, of Marysville, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 at home surrounded by her family after a long illness.  She was born April 4, 1964 in Port Huron to Robert W. and Helen J. Leverich.  She married Kevin M. Ladd on August 11, 1990 in Port Huron.  Karen graduated from Marysville High School in 1982 and obtained a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Phoenix.  She was a devoted wife and mother who loved nothing more than her family.  She also enjoyed flowers, baking, cooking and celebrating holidays.  She is survived by her husband, Kevin; four children, Andrew, Julia, Sarah, and Aaron Ladd; her first granddaughter on the way in April, Annabella Karen; her parents, Robert and Helen Leverich; three brothers, Daniel Leverich, Gary (Sarah) Leverich, and William "Bill" (Tracy) Leverich; a sister, Ann (Brad) Woolman; a half sister, Denise Haacke; parents-in-law, Kathleen and Finley Jacobs; four brothers-in-law, Daniel, James, and Matthew Ladd and John Jacobs; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins, including a very special niece, April Ladd.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Robert W. Leverich Jr. in 2010 and an infant brother. Memorial services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2015 in the Marysville Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m. The Rev. Ladensack, George  
George A. Ladensack Marine City George A. Ladensack, age 88, died March 24, 2015. George was born in Detroit to the late Carl and Martha Ladensack and just celebrated his 88th birthday with his family. On September 29, 1951 George married Jeanette VanNest in Detroit. He served his country honorably during World War II with the U.S. Army. He was very proud of his 40 years of employment with the Detroit Gasket in Marine City. He was a faithful member of Holy Cross Church Our Lady on the River Parish. George was an avid hunter, fisherman, woodworker and all around handyman with a knack of fixing anything. His great sense of humor was enjoyed by all who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Jeanette Ladensack, children; Carl "Butch" (Virginia "Ginger") Ladensack, David (Debra) Ladensack and Delbert (Julie) Ladensack, grandchildren; Amy (Brannan) Gamber, Lisa Stephenson, Michele (Michael) Haberichter, Raquel and Brooke Ladensack, Sarah (Jeff) Miles, Amy (Daniel) Williams and Selena Ladensack, great grandchildren; Piper, Zane and Aren. Also surviving are siblings; Carl Ladensack, John (Pauline) Ladensack, Anna Dandron and August (Carole) Ladensack and many nieces and nephews and his dog, Sally. George was predeceased by daughter; Diane (John) Tessmer, siblings; Dorothy (Pat) Sumner, Duane (Mary) Ladensack, Joe (Regina) Ladensack, Mary (Roy) Griffor and Clara (Dan) Lipa and sister in law; Lois Ladensack. Funeral Mass will be Saturday March 28th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Church OLR Parish, Marine City. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Marine City. Visiting hours are Friday 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Saturday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to mass. Lewandowski, John  
John Gerald Lewandowski Port Huron John Gerald Lewandowski, 83, of Port Huron, died Tuesday, March 24, 2015. He was born February 18, 1932 in Bay City to the late Vincent and Frances Lewandowski. He married Rita Peplinski on August 18, 1956 in Bay City. She preceded him in death on December 14, 2012. John graduated from Ferris State University School of Pharmacy in 1961 and spent most of his career working as a pharmacist and in various leadership roles in the Mercy Hospital Health Care System before his retirement.  He was a man of many talents who enjoyed woodworking and fishing, but his family was always most important to him.  He is survived by seven children, Sharon (Mick) Burns, Jan Belkiewicz, Craig (Kristine) Lewandowski, John (Kim) Lewandowski, Anne (Walter) Zaziski, Karen (Kevin) Bird and Mark (Kim) Lewandowski; 13 grandchildren, Heather (Mitch) Olaughlin, Jenny (Victor) Maul, Jamie Belkiewicz, John R. and Megan Lewandowski, Kara, Emily and Sarah Zaziski, Kiersten and Kallie Bird, and Jack, Cate and Natalie Lewandowski; six great grandchildren, Carson, Adrian, Jaden, Austin, Brooklyn and Morgan; three brothers, Ernie (Marion) Lewandowski, Clarence (Josephine) Lewandowski and Jim (Mariann) Lewandowski; three sisters, Lorine Syring, Tish Talaga and Janet (Harvey Jr.) Syring; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by a son, Bruce Lewandowski; a brother, Ed Lewandowski; and a sister, Rita Lewandowski. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home. Mr. Lewandowski will lie in state from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. on Saturday, March 28, 2015 in St. Mary Catholic Church. The Reverend Zbig Zomerfeld will officiate. The Rite of Committal will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Port Huron. Memorial contributions may be made to the University of Michigan - Merkel Cell Carcinoma Clinic.
