Patricia Ann Ledsworth, 82 of Fort Gratiot Twp., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 09, 2014 in Regency-on-the-Lake surrounded by her family.  She was born to Cecil and Hazel Jones on March 8, 1932 in Port Huron, attended the Port Huron schools, and graduated from Port Huron High School in 1949.

While in high school Pat belonged to the Dance Club.  She loved to do ballroom dancing, especially with the "love of her life," Warren Ledsworth, who she married on October 5, 1949.  She worked at London's Dairy Bar in the late 1940s and Star Oil Company in the 50s.  She enjoyed bowling and was always the "life of the party."  She was devoted to her family and leaves a legacy of being the "best cook in the world."

Pat is survived by her husband of nearly 65 years, Warren Ledsworth; her son, Paul (Teresa) Ledsworth of Jeddo; her six daughters, Laura (Bob) Nichols of Burton, MI, Janet (Greg) Osborn of Burtchville, Julie Brown of Fort Gratiot, Paula Berger of Port Huron, Sylvia Ledsworth of Fort Gratiot, and Amy (Jeremy) Kondrath of Round Rock, TX; eleven grandchildren; and nine great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, Clyde Ledsworth, and seven brothers and sisters.

Cremation has taken place.  There will be a service in Pat's memory beginning at 3:30 p.m. Monday, April 14, 2014 in Smith Family Funeral Home-North, 1525 Hancock St. Chaplin Max Amstutz and Chaplin Juanita Compton will officiate.  Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Monday until the time of the service.  Contributions may be made to Premier Hospice or her family.  To send condolences, please visit smithfamilyfuneralhome.com
