William "Bill" Clark Jr.

William "Bill" Clark, Jr. Marine City William "Bill" Clark, Jr., age 62, of Marine City, Michigan went to be with the Lord on February 5, 2013 after a brave and strong battle with breast cancer and heart disease. Bill was born February 13, 1950, in Michigan and raised in both Colorado and Michigan. Bill was the 5th child out of 10. He served in the United States Army as a Sergeant. He was a loving husband of 41 years, father, and Papa. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife: Denise (Stimmel) Clark. Bill had 3 daughters: Andrea Jones, Karrie (James) Mackie, and Corinn Clark (Paul Martin) all of Marine City, that he was so very proud of and cherished. Bill had four beautiful grandchildren: Andrew Jones (8), Evan Jones (6), Madison Mackie (4), and Olivia Mackie (11 months) that he loved unconditionally!! His grandchildren and family is what kept him so strong. He is also survived by brothers: George (Nancy) Clark, Robert (Laura) Clark, Kenneth Clark, Randy (Debbie) LaCroix; sisters: Carol Buccanan, Joan (Jeff) Scheel, Patty Freeman; and many nieces, nephews, family, and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents: William and Mary Jane Clark; sisters: Nancy Clark, Jackie Gates, Sue Chezum; daughter: Deanna Marie Clark; and one grandchild. Bill was a proud employee of Delta Industrial. He drove a semi and hauled heavy equipment in which he took pride in and loved. He was a mentor and friend to many of the employees and was grateful to the owners Bob and Laurie Grucz. Bill previously worked for Semco Energy and also owned his own heating and cooling business: B.C. Heating. Bill was an honest and loving man that always put everyone ahead of himself. Bill will always be remembered for his sense of humor, fun loving spirit, generosity, strong will, and love for his family and friends. Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 8, at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Military honors will be performed at 4:00 p.m. Visiting hours will be from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Bill's final resting place will be in his favorite places in the mountains of Colorado!
