Conroe, Texas

Agnes Fesz (Fisher) Nuss, 100 of Conroe, Texas, formerly of Marysville, Michigan went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, November 20, 2013.

She was born February 3, 1913 in Monessen, Pennsylvania to the late Samuel and Mary Fesz.   She married Michael Nuss, Jr. on July 29, 1930 in Steubenville, Ohio.  He died September 9, 2004.

Agnes was a Christian and a loving example to her family, church and many friends.  Prior to moving to Conroe, she was an active member of Grace Episcopal Church in Port Huron and St. Clair County Right to Life.

She is survived by her daughters in law, Theresa Nuss of Conroe, Texas, Nancy Nuss of Sun City, Arizona; grandchildren, Alan Nuss of Jonesboro, Georgia, Dale (Genevera) Nuss of Plymouth, Michigan, Richard (Cheryl) Nuss of Conroe, Texas, Gerald (Anna) Nuss of Emmett, Michigan, Theresa (William) Burns of Katy, Texas, Cheryl (James) Cahill of Hockley, Texas, Mark (Maureen) Nuss of Rochester Hills, Michigan, Susan (Steve) Borowy of Phoenix, Arizona, Kenneth (Sandy) Nuss of Roseville, Michigan and John Nuss of Sun City, Arizona; several great and great-great grandchildren; and her sister, Julia Truitt of Ohio.  She is preceded in death by two sons, Michael III and Christopher Nuss; and siblings, John, Anna, Pearl "Bessie", Steve and Rose.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 6, 2013 in Grace Episcopal Church, 1213 6th Street, Port Huron, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. in the church.  Reverend Lydia Speller will officiate.

Burial will be in Riverlawn Cemetery, Marysville, Michigan.

Memorials may be made to Grace Episcopal Church.
