Barbara Ann McNally, age 69, of China Twp., passed away peacefully on January 23, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Detroit on March 22, 1944, the daughter of the late William and Ruth Shaw.

She and her loving husband, Patrick, were married in June of 1962. Barbara was proud of her Associates Degree in Marketing and Business Management. She worked for 12 years at Diamond Crystal Salt Co. in St. Clair. She also worked 20 years for Attica Hydraulics in Chesterfield

Barbara was known for her infectious smile. She worked diligently in her flower gardens. She was active at St. Mary's Church in St. Clair as a reader and commentator. She especially enjoyed being around her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband Patrick, her son Stephen (Renee) McNally, daughters, Janet (Douglas) Knoth and Brenda (Brad) Machula. She also leaves behind her sisters, Sandra (Michael) Bross, Agnes (Hans) Hansen and Patricia Shaw, brothers, Fred (Janet) Shaw and Shannon Shaw and her favorite Aunt Julie.

She also leaves behind grandchildren, Aleisha (Kevin) Kerrigan, Jessica (Tom) Meinhardt, David Kabat, Colleen (Chris) Heythaler, Stephanie McNally, Nicole Knoth, Autimn Knoth and her great grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Morgan, Ethan, Ryan, Madison, Mackenzie, Hayley, Dominic and Ashley. There are many nieces, nephews and many friends that will miss her.

Cremation has taken place and the family will receive visitors Monday January 27th from 3:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp.

A rosary recital will be at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mary's Church, St. Clair. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to mass. Memorials may be made to Kids in Distress.
