Daniel Robert Barren Sandusky Daniel Robert Barren, 57, of Sandusky, died unexpectedly, Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Port Huron Hospital in Port Huron, Michigan. He was born March 4, 1954 in Yale, Michigan the son of the late John and Betty (Brown) Barren. He was a lifelong area resident, a 1972 graduate of Sandusky High School and received his technical training from Eastern Michigan University. He worked for Trelleborg in Sandusky for 36 years and was currently the Laboratory Manager. Daniel married Marion Wolfe on June 2, 1973 in Sandusky. He was very adventurous, always trying something new, he enjoyed woodworking, golf and loved music. Daniel loved and adored his family; wife, children and had a special place in his heart for his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife Marion; Tracy and Brian Camp (daughter) of Vestaburg, Tricia Barren (daughter) of Elgin, IL, Daniel and Jessica Barren (son) of Gladwin; 4 grandchildren who affectionately knew him as Papa, Seth Barren, Elfriede (Ella) Camp, Jane Barren and Willa Barren; Michael and Carolyn Barren (brother) of Columbus Twp., Mark and Pennie Barren (brother) of Sandusky; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Brian and a sister Rosanna Bowsky. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 9, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Sandusky. Matt Livingston will be officiating. Burial will be in the Greenwood Cemetery in Sandusky. Visitation will be held at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Sandusky on Sunday from 1 - 8 PM and on Monday from 10 - 11 AM. Memorial suggestion to any organization of the donors choice.
