Earl W. Schroeder Croswell Earl W. Schroeder, age 91, died Wednesday November 14, 2012. He was born August 28, 1921 in Duluth, Minnesota to the late Edward and Hazel (Wiggins) Schroeder. He and Dorothy M. Parker married on September 30, 1944 in Croswell. She preceded him in death on May 26, 1992. Earl was a retired Buel Twp. Farmer. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in WWII, and was a member of the American Legion Post #255 in Croswell. He is survived by his sons Bill (Deborah) of Watertown, Jerry (Debbie) of Manasha, WI, Bob (Debbie) of Wadhams, Dick (Tami) of Croswell, and Dave (Beth) of Lexington. 19 grandchildren, and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son Larry. Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday November 17 at the Pomeroy Funeral Home, Croswell. Rev. Timothy Ziegler, pastor of the Lexington U. Methodist Church, is officiating. Burial will be in the Croswell Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2 - 9 p.m. Friday and 10 - 11 a.m. Saturday.
