Edna M. Furman Gainesville, FL Edna M. Furman, age 96 of Gainesville, FL, passed away Tuesday, April 10, 2012 in North Florida Regional Medical Center. She was born December 28, 1915 in Port Huron, Michigan to George Washington and Mary Waugh Bellaw. Edna worked in Sperry's Department Store in Port Huron and was a member of First Baptist Church of Port Huron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Furman in 2006; her brother, Robert Bellaw; and sisters, Mary Gillette and Doris Bellaw. She is survived by sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Joyce and Bruce Yancey and several nieces and nephews. A private graveside service will be held at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lakeland, Florida.
