Everen C. "Wimp" Badley Port Huron Mr. Everen Charles "Wimp" Badley, 84, of Port Huron, died Friday, July 9, 2010. He was born November 1, 1925 in Port Huron to the late Frederick and Elizabeth Badley. Mr. Badley was a machinist with Prestolite Wire Company. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He played hockey, softball and golf and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was inducted into the Port Huron Sports Hall of Fame as a member of the Schoeffner's AA state championship team and will be inducted as an individual this October. He was a member of VFW Charles Schoor Post #796 and a club champion at the Elks. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Alice; three children, Randall "Randy" (Gail) Badley of Dublin, Deborah (Pat) Emlaw of Port Huron and Shari (Dan) Matheny of Crystal Lake, Illinois; six grandchildren, Devon, Erin and Trevor Spencer, Nicole Emlaw, Kelly (Michael) Richards and Melissa Badley; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday in the Marysville Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 12, 2010 in the Marysville Funeral Home. Father Frederick Bodde will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the St. Clair County Allied Veterans.
