Ruth Ann (Biscorner) May

East China

Ruth Ann (Biscorner) May of East China went to Heaven on June 29, 2013. Ruth Ann was born September 24, 1940 to the late Ralph and Loretta Biscorner in Marine City, MI. She married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) May, on August 6, 1960 at Holy Cross Catholic Church. A graduate of Marine City High School, Ruth Ann returned to the East China School District to work as a para-pro, and retired after 30 years of service.

For Ruth Ann, family meant everything. She is survived by her husband; Bob May, their children; Brian (Donna) May, Todd May, Corey (Trish) May, Michelle (Don) Uppleger, grandchildren; Robert (April) May, Kristen May, Donny and Kelsey Uppleger, Paige, Faith, and Nicholas May, great-grandchildren; Hunter and Brian May, daughter-in-law; Wendy May, special care giver; Sandy Westerhof, sister-in-law; Sharon Biscorner. She is also survived by sisters; Antoinette Bliss, Sandy (Chick) Spencer, Kathy (Tom) Keighley, brothers; Ron Biscorner and Larry Biscorner, inlaws; Betty and Lowell Wood, John and Jackie May, Doug and Lois McCollister and countless nieces and nephews.

Ruth Ann was met in Heaven by her parents; Ralph and Loretta Biscorner, brother-in-law; Don Bliss, sister-in-law; Sue Biscorner, nephew; Kevin Biscorner, and her in-laws; Ted and Liz May and Rose and Ed Castleberry.

Services will be held at Our Lady on the River Parish, Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City on Tuesday, July 2nd at 10:00 a.m. Visiting hours will be Monday, July 1 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and at church from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. prior to mass. Interment will be at Rosehill Cemetery, East China Twp. www.youngcolonial.com
