Terry Warwick Obituary

Terry Lee Warwick Shelby Twp. Terry Lee Warwick of Shelby Twp., formerly of Port Huron, MI, passed away at the home of his dear friend, Janet Waslar of Port Hope, MI, on Friday, May 20, 2011, at the age of 65. He was born June 1, 1945, in Port Huron to Eloise Ferrol Warwick and the late Amos F. Warwick. He married Patricia Deman on October 8, 2002. She passed away on January 29, 2007. Terry graduated from Port Huron High School in 1963. He attended Port Huron Junior College. After thirty-five years as an inspector, he retired from Chrysler Corp., Sterling Heights Stamping Plant. Terry is survived by his mother, Eloise Ferrol Warwick; his brother, Gary E. (Carol) Warwick Sr. of Port Huron; two nephews, Gary E. (Shelley) Warwick Jr. of Fort Gratiot, MI, and Chad A. Warwick of Boulder, CO; as well as two special nieces, Karley R. and Krista N. Warwick of Fort Gratiot, MI. Terry is also survived by his deceased wife's parents, James and Marjorie Troe. Surviving also are his step children, Carrie (Toby) Shreeves, Nicky Deman (Mike Lema), Marcel (Julie) Deman, as well as his step grandchildren, Mackenzie, Michael, Myles, Mayson, and Maya. A memorial service will be held for Terry on Friday May 27, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at Gramer Funeral Home Diener Chapel, 48271 VanDyke (south of 22 Mile Rd.) Shelby Twp., MI. The Rev. Dennis Cutery of Light House Assembly of God Church of Port Hope, MI, will officiate. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Terry's life will be held immediately following the memorial service at Crackle Woods Golf Club 18215 24 Mile Rd. Terry was an avid golfer and enjoyed bowling as well as travel. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated to Gratiot Park United Methodist Church, 811 Church St., Port Huron, MI 48060. The Warwick family thanks Janet Waslar for the wonderful care she gave to Terry during his illness.

I knew Terry my entire life, as he was a dear family friend. I feel blessed having known such a wonderful, fun, loving person. Terry will forever be loved and dearly missed!!

I was deeply saddened when I read that Terry has passed away. I have many happy memories of the childhood friendship we had. I am sorry that life took us in different directions and we lost touch over the years. We would like to extend our deepest sympathy and prayers to the Warwick family at this time.
