Marion Hazel Minard


Marion Hazel Minard, 95, passed away: Sunday, March 16, 2014 at  McKenzie Health System, Sandusky.

She was born: September 30, 1918 Where Born: Marine City, Michigan. Daughter of the late: Raymond and Veva (Harris) Siefert. Married to: Charles Losker Minard Sr. on Dec. 8, 1936 in Pontiac, Michigan. He passed away on Sept. 22, 1974.

 Marion was a member of the Heritage First United Methodist Church, Snover. And also the United Methodist Women, Mary Martha Circle and the Snover Rebekah Lodge. She was the secretary for the Snover Old timers for years. She worked at Snover Elevator, Snover Post Office and was a decorator. The biggest joy was her family, friends, wet burritos and the Detroit Tigers.

She is survived by: Four children: Marlene June, of Snover; Gary (Darlene) Minard, of Snover; Veva (Paul) Stoliker, of Sandusky and Bill (Shelley) Minard, of Snover. Twenty two grandchildren. Fifty Three great grandchildren. Eighteen great great grandchildren. Sister in law of: Marie Armstead, of Tennessee. Special friend: Betty Baer, of Snover. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by: One daughter: Charlene McLean. One son: Charles Minard Jr. Three son in laws: Maurice Mull, Herbert (Higgie) June and George Clark.

Visitation Hours Selected by the Family: Wednesday, March 19th from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. And on Thursday, March 20th from 10:00 A.M. until service time at the Heritage United Methodist Church, Snover.

Funeral Services : Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Heritage United Methodist Church located at 3329 Washington Street, Snover. Officiating: Pastor Donald Derby, Snover.

Burial will be in: Moore Township Cemetery, Snover, Michigan

Memorials may be made to: Heritage United Methodist Church - Kitchen Fund or McKenzie Health System.
