Elva Bell Louks, 91, Kimball Twp., passed away June 2, 2014.
She was born on March 15, 1923 in Sandusky, daughter of the late John and Annie Marlatt.
Elva married Buddy Douglas Louks on June 26, 1946. He preceded her in death on March 22, 1975.
She enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and playing with her great-grandchildren. Elva enjoyed eating dessert especially pie and doing crossword puzzles.
Elva is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brian (Linda) Louks of Kimball; granddaughter, Kim (Aaron) Bowen of Kimball; grandson, Richard Louks (fiancé, Kelli Boddy) of Marysville; five great-grandchildren: Megan, Ashley, Trevor, Dre and Zachary.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Brenda Davis, who passed away on June 11, 2009 and several sisters and brothers.
A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday in the Jowett Funeral Home, 1634 Lapeer Ave. at 17th Street, Port Huron. Rev. Max Amstutz will officiate.
Visiting hours will be held Saturday 12:00 p.m. until the time of services at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
