Clyde A. Bradley

Clyde A. Bradley, age 80, of Croswell, passed into eternal life on August 3, 2014.  He was the oldest of four children born on May 30, 1934 to Leroy and Loreta (Jolley) Bradley.

He learned his work ethic growing up on the family dairy farm and continued to be a hard worker his entire life. After graduating from Yale High in 1953, Clyde entered Adrian College on a football scholarship. He attended one semester, before being called to proudly serve his country in the U.S. Army. During his tour of duty, he had the opportunity to play football for the Army. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 255

He married Mary Lou Adams on August 9, 1958 and the couple resided in Croswell, where they raised their two daughters. He joined the Boilermakers Union 169 as a welder working until his retirement in 1996.

Clyde was blessed with a happy marriage, loving family, and many close friends. He enjoyed many years playing softball, raising and hunting with his beagles, but his greatest pleasure was spending time with and watching his grandchildren participate in sports. He was one of the PIONEERS biggest fans and could be seen at most athletic events.

He is survived by his loving wife of almost 56 years, Mary Lou; his daughters Michele (Paul) Quader and Katrina (Dale) Brywig, all of Croswell; grandchildren Bradley, Adam and Brooke Quader, and Austin and Reid Brywig; his sister, Barbara Bradley; and sister-in-law Bonnie Bradley.
