Clarence Benjamin Vogler, 74,  died Tuesday, September 2, 2014. He was born January 18, 1940 in Marine City to the late Clarence & Sylvia Vogler. Clarence married Carol Jean LaCroix May 30, 1959. Mr. Vogler worked for Butler Plastics for 20 years and McDonald Molding in New Baltimore for 18 years. In his spare time you could find Clarence tinkering around the house. He enjoyed socializing with friends and family, hunting, and fishing. His family remembers him as a kind and helpful person.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Carol; children, Clarence Vogler of Waterford, Stephen (Connie) Vogel of Algonac, Howard (Kelly) Vogler of Marine City and Janice Vogler and her husband, Victor Pullian of Mt. Clemens; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; sisters, Beatrice Willis of Florida, Lois Vogler, Mary Smith and Joanne Posey, all of Marine City; two step brothers, Lloyd Emery of St. Clair and Bill Emery of Marine City and a step-sister, Erma Emery. In addition to his parents, Clarence was also preceded in death by a sister, Florence Polito.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, September 6, 2014 in Bower-Rose Funeral Home, Marine City. Visitation will be held from 3:00-8:00pm Friday in the funeral home. To send condolences, visit: bowerrosefuneralhome.com
