Evelyn Beatrice Kocis Capac Evelyn Beatrice Kocis, 89, a lifelong resident of Capac, died Saturday, September 18, 2010, at Port Huron Hospital, Port Huron after a brief illness. She was born Monday, October 18, 1920, in Wonewoc, Wisconsin, the daughter of the late Fred and Anna (Hoyda) Johnson. Her marriage to Andrew Kocis was Saturday, July 29, 1939, in Napoleon, Ohio. Andrew died in 1967. Evelyn was employed by L & L Products of Romeo for 30 years until her retirement in 1991. She enjoyed playing bingo, barbeques, bird feeding and crocheting. Surviving are two sons and daughter-in-law, Frank of Yale and Andy and Marlene of Yale, three daughters and a son-in-law, Shirley and Bud McClintock of Capac, Rose Thurston of Capac and Kathleen Bianco of Chicago, IL; 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Norma Johnson. Her family honors the memory of Evelyn and invites you to visit and share memories Monday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Kaatz Funeral Directors, Capac.
