Barbara S. Bartley Fort Gratiot I sadly left my loving family and friends on December 31, 2010 and in God I trust my soul to take me to my spiritual home. My life began on January 25, 1938 born to the late George McCollum and Mildred (Humphreys) McCollum. I was raised in St Clair Shores, MI, and attended Lake Shore Elementary and High School graduating with my life long friends in 1956. Surviving me is my wonderful family sister Nancy L. (Bob) Wilson and brother George R Mc Collum Jr. I have been totally blessed to have a loving daughter Laura Lyn (Gregory) Janski and the best grandchildren a Grammy could ever wish for Connor A Janski and Lauryn G Janski. My husband, Vurn C Bartley Jr, couldn't have been more loving, caring and supportive. What a fun life we had together. Always there for me were sister-in-laws and brother -in-laws too numerous to mention, but Kay Wilson, Bette Jean Cole, late Mary Jennings and late Patricia Hicks were like sisters. All my nieces and nephews are so special, but those closest to me thru the years are Thomas (Cheryl) Wilson, Denise (Rick) Everett, Cynthia (Jim) Whiteman, Bobby Wilson, Kimberly (Dave) Greehan, Carrie (Gordon) Collins, Sue Gaddis, Patsy (Jeff) Baker, Debbie (Ed) Lesniak and Robyn Schocker. Don and Jan Socia were best friends that were always there supporting me. I was a longtime employee of NBD, Peoples Bank and Bank One which are Chase Bank, retiring in 1996. I am a past member of IMC and Quota Club. My hobbies were gardening, traveling and most importantly spending time with my special grandchildren. I was a member of St Edward on the Lake Parish. The Funeral Mass to celebrate my life will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in St Edward on the Lake Catholic Church, Lakeport, MI. Inurnment will be at a later date. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 in St Edward on the Lake, Lakeport, MI. Charitable Contributions can be made to St Edward on the Lake, Area Agency on Aging, Region 1B,
