William Fealko, Jr. Caro William Fealko, Jr. age 70, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at Pine River Health Care Center in St. Louis, Michigan. He was born November 13, 1942 in Harbor Beach, the son of the late William Lee and Catherine June (Armstead) Fealko. He was a graduate of Our Lady of Lake Huron Catholic High School in Harbor Beach, where he enjoyed success in baseball, football, basketball and track. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving on the USS Essex. Bill was united in marriage with the former Maureen Casey on January 16, 1965 at St. Felix Catholic Church in Pinnebog. He was employed at Saginaw Steering Gear as a repairman, retiring in 1999 after thirty-five years of service. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro, was a 3rd Degree member of the Knights of Columbus Caro Council #3224, a former member of American Legion Post #7 in Caro, and enjoyed coaching Little League and camping. Bill loved watching and playing all sports, especially football, baseball, golf, bowling, fishing and playing euchre. Bill will be best remembered for his love of family, and was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife, Maureen Fealko of Caro; four children, William Lee III and Jean Fealko of Port Huron, Michelle andBen Hallam of Ionia, Kelli and Christopher Masacek of East Grand Rapids, Kayla and Evin Green of Ypsilanti; thirteen grandchildren, Casey, Riley, William IV, Andrew, Daniel and Shannon Fealko, Trent and Savannah Hallam, Alexandra, Taylor, Aaron and Nathan Masacek, Henry Green; one sister, Nancy and Gary Rose of Harbor Beach; his mother-in-law, Joyce Casey of Kinde; his uncles, Jack Armstead of Harbor Beach, Jack Langdenberg of Harbor Beach, Robert and Margaret Fealko of Harbor Beach; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Sandra Dragus. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Caro with Rev. Joseph Schabel officiating. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery in Caro. The family will receive friends at the Ransford Collon Funeral Home in Caro on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorial contributions to Human Development Commission Alzheimer's and Family Caregiver Support Group.
