Timothy Tacie Obituary
Port Huron Township
Timothy W. Tacie, age 41, of Port Huron Township died unexpectedly on June 3, 2014 after a bicycle accident. He was born August 30, 1972 in Port Huron to Dave and Randye Tacie. He lived in Tampa, Florida for most of his life, and for the last 10 years in Port Huron. Tim was passionate about bicycles. He loved to ride and repair bikes, and enjoyed everything from freestyle tricks to long-distance riding.
He is survived by a daughter, Delanie Tacie; his father, David R. Tacie Sr.; 4 siblings, David R. Tacie Jr., Denyelle E. Barrett, Dana I. (Randy Jerome) Tacie, and Gavin Forehand; nieces and nephews, Karlee, Caden, Gracelynne, Nehemiah, Jordan, and Nikole. He was preceded in death by his mother Randye and his step-mother, Donna.
There will be a visitation Saturday from 1-5 PM at the Smith Family Funeral Home - North, 1525 Hancock Street. Memorials may be made to his family. www.smithfamilyfuneralhome.com.

Tim you were a one of a kind. The love and passion you had for your daughter is unexplainable. She is very proud to have you has her dad. I'm going to miss see you as I walk down to the bus stop to get the boys off the bus. Jim an I are going to miss our late night strolls to your house when my kids were gone. You alone have set the bar of what a amazing father so high that no man or father could even come close. We are very upset to hear about your passing but glad to know you passed doing what your passionate about. It was a true honor to know you an to have you apart of our lives. Tim was a great guy, always smiling, laughing, willing to lend a hand. So full of life, and optimistic. He was a great Dad, I would see him, and Laney all over town, hanging out. Wonderful caring neighbor, and just an all around genuine great guy. Im still just in complete disbelief. Im blessed to have known you, and wont forget you. I will think of you whenever I see a pair of crocs, or sandals and socks. Rest in peace friend <3

I am so saddened by your loss. You had the most infectious laugh that I will never forget. Something keep telling me to contact you and now I know why. I would give my right arm to have 5 more minutes with you! I will never be the same without my double T-OG again. Tim...we met in Speech Class at Baker College in 2010/11 & had other classes together..but speech started our awesome friendship...After college we ran into each other all the time, everywhere..Laney was almost always with you...u always smiled, asked how me & the girls were..and always the best hug!!! Miss you, love you & I'll always remember you!!

I am honored I have met you. Although we've only known each other for a short period of time. I'd just like to say ' I am honored I was able to be in your presence and that I was able to peddle with you. You are so full of Happiness and Life. You always have such a big smile on your face. I enjoyed watching you when you would do tricks on your bike. I also enjoyed when we would all ride. But most of all I will always remember the priceless look on both your daughter's and your face when you would ride together. Definitely could see the love and the passion of riding in your faces. You may be gone but will never be forgotten. Someday we will all ride again.
