GRAHAM - Mrs. Sylvia Jean Greeson, 56, of 4870 Mineral Springs Road, Graham died at her residence on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of Tommy G. Greeson, who survives and the daughter of the late Gloria Jean Sparks Aldridge and Charles O. Riley and his wife, Bonnie, who survive. She was a home health care provider.
In addition to her husband of the home and father and stepmother of Laurinburg, N.C., survivors include a daughter, Christy J. Greeson and Don Huffman of Burlington; two sons, Michael Kerr and wife Angel and Steven Greeson and wife Deedra, all of Graham; eight grandchildren, Kimberly, Taylor, Jacob, Adam, Colton, Kaleb, Colby and Gavin; two great-grandchildren, Kayliegh and Braylon; sister, Diane Riley and husband Dale of Graham; and a sister-in-law, Teresa Riley of Graham.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles David Riley.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Stephen Hall.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Saturday from 5 to 7 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence.
Memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
