BURLINGTON - Ruby Williams Davis, 87, of 6825 South N.C. 49, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Hospice Home.
A native of Yadkin County, Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her children; Bonnie Davis Tate and husband, Bobby, of Prospect Hill, Lettie Davis Coble of Burlington and Bill Davis and wife Joan, of Mebane; daughter-in-law, Marie Smith Davis of Burlington; 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willie B. Davis Sr.; parents, Dot Williams and Sallie Caudle Williams; son, Bobby Lee Davis Sr.; granddaughter, Tanya Marie Davis; son-in-law, Wayne H. Coble; four brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Oak Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Bobby Tate officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at McClure Funeral Home in Mebane from 6 to 8 Tuesday night, and at other times at the residence of Bill and Joan Davis, 205 Edgewood Church Road, Mebane.

Bill and Joan, I'm so sorry to hear about Aunt Ruby. I remember when I was really young she was also so sweet and nice to me at Granny Lucy's house. All the Williams' girls were all so sweet. May the Lord be with you and your family. Tia
