MEBANE - Nellie Mae Wilson passed away on November 2, 2013, at the Hospice Home of Alamance-Caswell.
She was the daughter of the late William Stewart and Viola Ellisor and the wife of the late James Albert Wall and David O. Wilson. She was a member of Glen Hope Baptist Church where she was a past children's Sunday School teacher and a member of the Ladies WMU. She was also a member of the Eastern Star Chapter 41 of Burlington. She loved the beach and always looked forward to her annual trip there with her Women's Sunday School class. She was a former employee at Cone Mills, Glen Raven Mills, Byrd's Food Stores and Olympic Narrow Fabrics. Nellie Mae enjoyed crafts especially sewing. She loved her family and grandchildren dearly.
Surviving family members include a daughter, Wynell Lowery and husband Ronald, of Mebane; and grandchildren, Brittney and Christopher Lowery.
Other than her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her sons, Jerry Dean Wall and Edward Lee Wall; brothers, Elton, Wilton, Gary, Coley, Earl and Clarence Stewart; and a sister, Kathleen Harris.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 5, 2013, at First Baptist Church of Mebane officiated by the Rev. Judy Butler. Visitation will be held Monday November 4, 2013 from 6-8 pm at McClure Funeral Service in Mebane. Burial will take place at Alamance Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Hospice of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215, or First Baptist Church of Mebane Mike Lunday Fund, 301 South Third Street, Mebane, NC 27302.

Wynell, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Mother's are so special and very hard to give up. Just know that her spirit and love will be with you forever. God Bless and Love you. Your cousin!
