BURLINGTON - Mrs. Glossie Cofean Torain Graves of Burlington died Jan. 20, 2013 at White Oak Manor.
She was the wife of the late Johnie Dee Graves and daughter of Mr. David Torain and Mrs. Pearl Terrell Torain, both deceased.
Survivors include a daughter, Geraldine G. Ingram of Burlington; two sons, Aaron D. Graves (Debra Reed) and Larry D. Graves, all of Burlington; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Public viewing will be held from 1 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Sharpe Funeral Home, Burlington.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25 at Lee's Chapel Baptist Church where she was a member. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation will be 30 minutes prior to the service at the church. At other times the family will receive visitors at the home of her daughter.

Glossie was a special person. I always enjoyed her smile when interacting with her. You can rest assured that you did all that you could to ensure your mom was taken care of and stayed as active as she could. My prayers are with you during this difficult time.

God bless Aunt Glossie as she transitions to be with Him. God blessed us to have her as long as we did. She sho nuff sported some nice hats. We will miss her. Aaron, Larry, Geri and the family, you are in our prayers.
