Mrs. Annie Mae Tinnin

MEBANE - Mrs. Annie Mae Tinnin, 81, of 707 W. McKinley St., died Sept. 22, 2013 at the Hospice Home.
Mrs. Tinnin was a member of Mt. Calvary Living Word Church and was involved with the Prayer Band, Usher Board and Choir. She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
She was the widow of Mr. Leroy Tinnin and was predeceased by her parents, Mr. Carson W. Morrison and Mrs. Ella Warren Morrison.
She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Thompson of the home; two grandchildren, Keisha Thompson and Keith Thompson; three great-grandchildren, Keith Thompson Jr., Kenyan Mason and Keyshawn Dixon; a great-granddaughter, Zayla Thompson; a brother, Michael Wayne Morrison (Paula) of Graham; three sisters, Gloria Fearrington (Joe), Wilma Crisp (Curtis) and Penny Alston (Dwight) all of Mebane.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sheilda K. Tinnin; and brothers, Walter, Woodrow, Vernon, John and Willie Morrison.
The funeral will be Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Mt. Calvary Living Word Church. The family will receive visitors 30 minutes prior to the service and other times they will meet at the home. Public viewing will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 1-9 p.m.
Burial will be in Mebane Community Cemetery.
