Mr. Charles Alan Clark

PLEASANT MOUNT, Pa. - Mr. Charles Alan Clark, 46, of Pleasant Mount, Pa., formerly of Burlington, died suddenly in Harrisburg, Pa.
A native of Guilford County, he was the son of Barbara and Keith Clark, who survive. He was a graduate of Southern Alamance High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Alan was a pharmacist and owner of Finca Alta Vista Farm, where he raised alpacas.
In addition to his mother and father of Burlington, survivors include two sisters, Penny Flythe and husband Coley of Bennettsville, South Carolina and Suzette Potter and husband Walter of Burlington; two brothers, William Charles Clark and wife Cindi and Barry Lynn Clark and wife Judy, all of Burlington; three nieces, Ashley Potter, Jessica Flythe and Lindsey Flythe; three nephews, Jason Clark and wife Melissa, Matt Clark and wife Tiffany and Jonathan Potter; and four cousins, Mona Truitt, Gloria Sheetz, Claude Smith and Craven Smith.
He was preceded in death by his biological father, Charles Howard Smith and brother, Clinton Barry Smith.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 1 p.m. by Pastor Mark Aheron.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. At other times they will be at the residence of his parents, Barbara and Keith Clark, 3603 Doctor Pickett Road, Burlington, N.C.
