BURLINGTON - Mr. Clyde "J.R." Edward Frazier Jr., 53, of 1337 Kilby St., Burlington, passed away 3:15 p.m. Friday, Sept. 20, 2013, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
Born in Boston, MA and raised in Burlington, he was the husband of Julie Frazier, who survives of the home, and son of the late Clyde Edward Frazier and Patricia Fogleman, who survives along with her husband Clint of Asheboro. J.R. was a Quality Assurance Manager at ECI, Inc. and spent over 20 years as an official with the Burlington Football Officials Association.
Surviving, other than his wife and mother, are a daughter, Ashley Hiatt and husband Keith of Fuquay-Varina; a son, Chad Frazier of Burlington; three sisters, Debra Josie and husband Virgil of Asheboro, Michele McIntyre and husband Randy of Burlington, and Chinera Rakfeldt of Burlington; two grandsons, Hayden and Bryson Frazier; two nieces; four nephews; and numerous great-nephews and nieces.
Services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 25, at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington. Burial will follow at Alamance Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends at Rich & Thompson Funeral & Cremation Service in Burlington from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday evening. At other times, the family will receive friends at J.R. and Julie's residence, as well as the residence of J.R.'s sister, Chinera Rakfeldt, at 1326 Kilby St.
