Colleen Atkins Kapp

MEBANE - Colleen Atkins Kapp, 81, of 6716 N.C. 49 North, Mebane, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2012 at the Hospice Home.
A native of Orange County, she was retired from Westpoint Stevens and was a member of Mt. Zion Christian Church.
Survivors include daughter, Angela Welch and husband Clarence "Pat" of Enterprise, Ala; son David Kapp and wife Patti of Roxboro; two grandchildren, Kyle Kapp and Hunter Welch; brother, Doug Atkins and wife Dianne of Mebane; sister, Jeanette Holmes of Jackson, N.C. and sister-in-law Libby Atkins of Mebane.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Nina McAdams Atkins; brothers, Glenn Atkins and Cecil Atkins and sister Gladys Turner.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at Mt. Zion Christian Church by the Rev. Rick Webster. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service. At other times they will be at the residence.
