Mr. Donald Eastwood Sr.

BURLINGTON - Mr. Donald Eastwood Sr., 80, of 703 Wicker St., died at his residence Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013, at 5:25 a.m.
A native of Orange County, he was the husband of Betty Eastwood, who survives, and the son of Aubrey Eastwood and Annie Massey Eastwood, both deceased. He was a retired painter and sand blaster contractor. Donald was of the Baptist faith.
In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include five children, Dennis Wayne Eastwood, Donna Eastwood and James Donald Eastwood and wife Susie, all of Burlington, Donald Eastwood Jr. and wife Samantha of Omaha, Neb. and Tina Eastwood Kirby and husband Darrin of Franklin, Tenn.; three stepchildren, Robert Alan Carter and wife Sheila of Burlington, James Carter of Cocoa, Fla. and Teresa Carter Nance of Burlington; many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; five sisters, Katie Carter, Vera Porter, Shirley Webster, Vertice Porter and Brenda May; and two brothers, Mertice Eastwood and Joel Eastwood.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, Lee, Nathaniel, Thaddeus, Johnny and "Funny" Eastwood.
A graveside service will be conducted in Alamance Memorial Park on Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Darryl Peebles.
