BURLINGTON, N.C. - Dorothy "Dot" Edwards Felts, 71, went home to be with Lord on Thursday, April 10, 2014.
She was a native of Pulaski, Va. and the wife of 22 years to Clinton "Clint" F. Felts, who survives.
Dot retired from Carolina Biological Supply and was of the Christian faith. She enjoyed playing bingo and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her husband, Clint Felts, of the home; daughters, Sandra Hardy and husband Larry of Ashe, N.C., Crystal Evans and husband Danny of Kernersville, Patty DeVries and husband Brett of Burlington and Misty London and husband Jesse of Gibsonville; son, Malcom Burchett Jr. and wife Capri of Summerfield; stepdaughters, Melissa Felts of Hillsborough and Melanie Davis of Mebane; 12 grandchildren; a great-grandchild; a sister; and a brother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Christopher Alex Edwards and Myrtle Annie Edwards; two brothers; and one sister.
A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, April 13, 2014, at 1 p.m. by J.W. London in Independence Cemetery located in Galax, Va.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Lowe Funeral Home and Crematory and at other times at the home.
