MEBANE - Miss Erin Shirl Apple, 22, of 221 Mattress Factory Rd, Mebane, NC, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014, at her residence.
She is the daughter of Maron "Robbie" Apple and Jonna Williams Apple, who survive, of the home. She is a graduate of Orange High School in 2010 and she attended Alamance Community College and was pursuing her business degree with a minor in graphical arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. She was also attending NC A&T State University. She was an excellent artist in drawing, painting, singing, writing, and photography. She found the beauty in all things. She was also a big supporter of human rights as she wanted everyone to get along and love one another. She was a Christian in which she loved the Lord and attended Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church and also had many Quaker beliefs.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her brother, John "Bobby" Apple, of the home; grandmothers, Gladys Stainback Apple, of Elon and Shirley Crouse Williams, of Burlington, and several loving Aunts, Uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. She loved her pets, Ginger, Madsion, and Buddy who passed away. Preceded in death are her grandfathers, Loftin "Doodie" Apple and John Williams.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday April 21, 2014 at Bush Arbor Primitive Baptist Church with the Elder David Underwood, Bishop Vernon Massengil, and Pastor Chuck Perkins, officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 Noon until service time prior on Monday April 21, 2014 at the Bush Arbor, and other times at the residence of the family. McClure Funeral Home in Mebane is in charge of arrangements.
