Mrs. Estelle E. Seaman

BURLINGTON - Mrs. Estelle E. Seaman, 101, a resident of Twin Lakes Retirement Community and former resident of Sunrise Avenue, Henderson, died at her residence on Sunday, June 16, 2013 at 11:15 p.m.
A native of Vance County, she was the wife of the late Rhineheardt Phillip William Seaman and the daughter of Robert A. Edwards and Laura Stegall Edwards, both deceased. She was a member of the First Congregational Christian Church, Rowland Street, Henderson, N.C., where she was a former choir member. Estelle was a former member of the Home Demonstration Club of Henderson and the Order of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Laura Ann Fogleman and husband Lacy of Greensboro and Judy S. Holloway and husband "Jim" of Kannapolis; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, Norwood Seaman; three brothers, George Edwards, Clarence Edwards and Ollie Edwards; and sister, Lillian Stevenson.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Foley Chapel of Twin Lakes Community on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 10 a.m. with the family receiving friends immediately following the service.
The funeral service will be conducted at the First Congregational Christian Church in Henderson on Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 3 p.m. by the Rev. George Williams with the family receiving friends from 2:30 until 3 p.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Henderson, N.C.
