Mrs. Eulalia Vathek Harrill Hockaday

FAIRHOPE, Ala. - Mrs. Eulalia Vathek Harrill Hockaday, 92, of 105 Beaver Dam Road, Fairhope, Ala., died at the Eastern Shore Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Daphne, Ala. on Friday, March 1, 2013 after a brief illness.
A native of Lattimore, N.C., she was the wife of the late William Elmo Hockaday and the daughter of Clark Durham Harrill and Camilia Vathek Blanton, both deceased. She retired as a physician's office manager and was a member of Hocutt Memorial Baptist Church. She was a member of the May-Lee Club in Burlington.
Survivors include two daughters, Becky Smith and husband Robert of the home and Brenda Boland and husband Ronald of Monticello, Fla.; a stepdaughter, Peggy Brodnax and husband Samuel of Miami, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Greenlee; brother, Clark Durham Harrill Jr. and sister, Wanda Chapman.
A graveside service will be conducted at Pine Hill Cemetery on Sunday, March 10, 2013 at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Darrell Massey.
