Frances Glenn Jones Ricks

Mrs. Frances Glenn Jones Ricks, 85, of 2314 McKinney Street, Burlington, died Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Hospice Home in Burlington.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife for 32 years of the late William D. "Bill" Ricks. She was the daughter of Anderson Tince Glenn, Sr. and Thelma Way Glenn, both deceased.
She retired from Carolina Biological Supply Company after 36 years. She was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by a daughter, Frances Jones Freeman of Garner; a son, Charles Glenn Jones of Pittsboro; a step-son, David A. Ricks and wife, Lori, of Virginia; a step-daughter, Sue Ricks Blackwell and husband, Tony, of Haw River, two brothers, Irwin Glenn and wife, Sue, of Burlington and Robert W. Glenn of Burlington; four grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Anderson T. "Andy" Glenn, Jr.; two daughters-in-law, Barbara Butler Jones and Janet King Jones and a sister-in-law, Frankie Glenn.
The family will receive friends at Rich and Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington, Sunday, March 23, 2014, from 4 until 6 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 24, in the Rich and Thompson Chapel. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
