Mr. Henry A. Clark

HAW RIVER - Mr. Henry A. Clark, 95, died at the Hospice Home on Thursday, May 15, 2014, at 11:58 a.m.
A native of Chatham County, he was the husband of the late Gladys Jessup Clark and the son of Eli Alexander Clark and Daisy Thomas Clark, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving during World War II and retired owner of Clark Upholstery. Henry was a member of Hocutt Memorial Baptist Church and the Triangle Wide Horseman's Association.
Survivors include a son, Larry Clark and wife Jill of Saxapahaw; three grandchildren, Cory Clark of Burlington, Amanda Dove and husband Alex of Burlington and Lauren King and husband David of Fort Hood, Texas; nine great-grandchildren, Jacob, Jordan, Dylan, Landon, Zannin, Brenden, Jade, Gray and Asa; and two stepgrandchildren, Matthew Russell of Whitsett and Ryan Russell and wife Susan of Mebane.
He was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
A graveside service will be conducted at Alamance Memorial Park on Monday, May 19, 2014, at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Jimmy Nickelston.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory in Graham on Monday from 1:15 to 2:15 p.m. prior to the graveside service.
