Herbert McPherson

SNOW CAMP - Herbert McPherson, 81, of Snow Camp died Jan. 1, 2013 at UNC Hospitals after several years of failing health.
He was retired from Burlington Mills after 42 years of service and was a farmer. He was a member of Cane Creek Friends Meeting.
Survivors include his wife, Yvonne Cox McPherson of the home; a son, Stephen Herbert McPherson and wife Tammy of Snow Camp; daughter, Sandra McPherson Stewart and husband Dino of Snow Camp; grandchildren, Jason McPherson, Heath McPherson and wife Lisa, Dustin Stewart, Micajah Stewart, and Sean Stewart; great-grandchildren, Hayleigh Jo McPherson and Hayden McPherson; sister, Ava Lee Roberts of Wilmington and a host of loving nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death his parents, Solomon Henry McPherson and Viola McPherson McPherson.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at McClure Funeral Service in Graham, 1030 S. Main St., Graham, and at other times at the residence.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013 at Cane Creek Friends Meeting, Snow Camp by the Rev. Mark Tope, the Rev. Dale Matthews and the Rev. John Sides.
