The Rev. Homer Bain Daniels Jr.

The Rev. Homer Bain Daniels Jr. was born June 29, 1951, and went home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2013.
He served as a missionary to Colombia, South America; was a minister of music at several churches, including Eastside Baptist Church in Birmingham, Ala.; and was also a Spanish teacher and media specialist. The Rev. Daniels loved to paint and appreciated a good joke. He was loved and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mellie Katheryne and Homer Bain Daniels Sr.; and his sister, Susan Hathcock.
He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Dianne Daniels; son, Patrick Bain Daniels (Madison Stone); daughter, Katheryne Dianne Daniels; grandson, Vincent Bain Daniels; brother, Tate Daniels (Linda); brother-in-law, Charles Hathcock; sister-in-law, Pat Morgan (Stan); nephews, Gregory Hathcock and Nicholas Long (Khristine Kimrey); nieces, Beth Terry (Scott) and Dr. Brittany Long; and a host of friends and family.
Visitation will be held at Glen Hope Baptist Church on Saturday, April 27, 2013 from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. followed by a celebration of his life beginning at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to either the , the , or the Organ Fund at the Baptist Church of the Covenant.
The family will be at the home of Mrs. Pat Morgan, 1348 George Bason Road, Graham, N.C.
