James Henry Taylor

MARIETTA, Ga. - Mr. James Henry Taylor, 90, a longtime resident of the Burlington/Graham area, passed away peacefully at his home in Marietta, Ga. Jan. 29, 2013 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
Mr. Taylor was a World War II-era veteran and had a career in the hosiery field followed by a long career in the auto repair business. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting pool and spending time in the company of friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Luna H. Eastwood; and eight brothers and sisters.
He is survived by sons, James Larry Taylor of Burlington and Sidney Lee Taylor of Roswell, Ga.; sister, Mary Louise Burgess of Mebane, N.C.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
There will be a private memorial service held at a later date.
