Mrs. Jean Hall Butler

GRAHAM - Mrs. Jean Hall Butler, 80, of 323 Baldwin Road, Burlington, N.C. died at 6:05 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013 at the White Oak Manor of Burlington, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Caswell County, she was retired from Mebane Hosiery. After her retirement, she enjoyed attending her church, "The Lamb's Chapel", dancing and spending time with her cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving her are daughter, Bonnie Mayton and husband Jamie of Graham; grandsons, Lane Yates and wife Karen, Scott Yates and wife Mindy; and great-grandchildren, Graham and Riley, with a soon-to-be-born great-grandson; also a daughter, Jo Crawford.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Susan Butler; mother, Oneda Webster; and two sisters.
The family will receive friends at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham on Friday evening from 6 until 8.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the McClure Chapel, 1030 South Main Street, Graham, N.C. Burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, 918 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
