Jewell Williamson Coley

LEASBURG, N.C. - Jewell Williamson Coley, 70, of 2077 NC 119 North, passed away Sunday, Nov. 10, 2013, at the Alamance-Caswell Hospice House in Burlington following a period of two years of declining health.
She was born in Caswell County to Dorothy Guthrie Williamson and the late Fletcher Allen Williamson Sr.
A graduate of Bartlett-Yancey High School and a member of Beulah Baptist Church, she worked as a weaver in textiles at the Williamsburg Plant.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at Beulah Baptist Church on Hwy 158 East, by the Rev. Rob Spivey and the Rev. Richard Ladew. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include her husband, Thomas Coley, of the home; daughter Linda C. Harvey of Kentucky; son, Michael Coley of Yanceyville; mother, Dorothy G. Williamson of Leasburg; sisters, Elizabeth (Lib) Williamson of Leasburg and Dianne Neese of Burlington; brothers George Williamson of Leasburg and Allen Williamson of Burlington; and five grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Beulah Baptist Church and at other times at the home of her mother, 2101 NC 119 North.
