Mrs. Lola Watson Gwyn Fogleman

GREENSBORO - Mrs. Lola Watson Gwyn Fogleman, 99, a resident of Burlington and former resident of Greensboro, died Sunday March 31, 2013 at the Hospice Home of Burlington.
Mrs. Fogleman was born August 3, 1913 in Alamance County, the daughter of James Harold and Lillian Iola Apple Watson. She had worked for many years with Burlington Mills in Burlington and was of the Church of God faith.
Lola was married to Banks Loftin Gwyn who preceded her in death. She later married Grady Marshall Fogleman who also preceded her in death. Lola was also preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Helen Mills, Chris Hayes and two brothers, Bill and Clem Watson.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth W. Gwyn and wife Nannie Lou of Burlington, Donald Banks Gwyn and wife Dorothy of Jamestown; a sister, Dinah Watson Russell of Burlington, a brother, Jim Watson and wife Mildred of Texas; four grandchildren, Linda Smith, Ronnie W. Gwyn, Michael B. Gwyn, Danny R. Gwyn and four great-grandchildren, Heather Carson, Brian Smith, Madeline Gwyn and Mairin Gwyn.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home Sedgefield Chapel. Interment will follow in Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 1 p.m. until service time.
