Mrs. Mildred Dollar Wright

DURHAM - Mrs. Mildred Dollar Wright, 96, of 93 Stone Hill Court, Durham, died at Carolina Point Hospice in Durham on Thursday, November 21, 2013.
A native of Alamance County, she was the wife of the late R. Chester Dollar and the late Thomas LeRoy Wright and the daughter of John L. Thompson and Lillian Hastings Thompson, both deceased. She worked for many years at Morton's Department Store and was a member of the First Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Elana Davis with whom she made her home; sister, Betty Shoffner of Graham; grandson, Keith Davis of Durham; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, Clarence, Floyd, Melvin, Wilson and Elmer Thompson and three sisters, Louise McAbee, Elsie Henderson and Thelma Thompson.
The funeral service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Sunday, November 24, 2013, at 2 p.m. by the Rev. Tim Robinson with the family receiving friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Pine Hill Cemetery.
