Mrs. Sallie Baker Robertson Faucette

BURLINGTON - Mrs. Sallie Baker Robertson Faucette, 87, of 610 Isley Place, died Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 at her home.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Dec. 29, 2012 at 2 p.m. in Pine Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the residence.
A native of Washington, N.C., she was a graduate of St. Mary's College and of UNC-Chapel Hill. She was a member of the Episcopal Church of the Holy Comforter, where she was also a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Altar Guild. She was member of the Heritage Book Club, the National Society of the Colonial Dames and the Daughters of Cincinnati. Mrs. Faucette was also a member of the Burlington Service League and served on the Board of Burlington Day School.
Surviving are her son, Pembroke Baker Faucette (Rebecca) of Savannah, Georgia; two daughters, Sallie Faucette Dancy (John) of Wilmington and Janie Faucette Sanders (Frank) of Rock Hill, S.C.; three grandchildren, Melanie Faucette Daniels, Jack Haywood Faucette and Janie Sanders Carnes; four great-grandchildren and her brother, Richard Robertson of Pinetops.
