Mr. Samuel Lee Wyrick

BURLINGTON - Mr. Samuel Lee Wyrick, 59, of White Oak Manor, died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill.
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Samuel Ervin Wyrick and Mexie Alma Phillips Wyrick, both deceased. He was a member of Glen Raven Baptist Church. Samuel was also a member of the Ralph Scott Group Home and participated in the Special Olympics.
Survivors include his uncle, Hosea Wyrick and wife Nancy; uncle and guardian, the Rev. George M. "Jack" Phillips and wife Kathryn; and several cousins.
The funeral service will be conducted in the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at 3 p.m. by the Rev. Bobby Fann and the Rev. George M. "Jack" Phillips, with the family receiving friends from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the chapel service. Burial will follow in Alamance Memorial Park.
