Mr. Wilbert Douglas ""Bill"" Hall

HAW RIVER - Mr. Wilbert Douglas "Bill" Hall, 71, of Terrywood Mobile Home Park, Trollingwood Road, Haw River, died at the VA Hospital in Durham on Monday, July 15, 2013 following a lengthy illness.
A native of Sampson County, he was the son of Hubert Ashford Hall Sr. and Bethel Bass Hall, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army, 82nd Airborne Division, serving during the Viet Nam War. Bill was a retired employee of Don Hall Heating and Cooling. He was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include a son, Chad Douglas Hall of the home; sister, Linda Wyatte and husband W. B. "Junior" of Mebane; three grandchildren, Erica, Megan and Ashley; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Hubert A. Hall Jr. and Donald R. "Don" Hall.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Friday, July 19, 2013 at 11 a.m. by the Rev. Walter Jones with the family receiving friends following the service at the funeral home.
