BURLINGTON - Ann Robinson Snead, 58, of Burlington, died at The Hospice & Palliative Care Center of Alamance-Caswell on Monday, May 6, 2013.

Ann spent 30 years in the hosiery industry, and loved to be with with her grandchildren and especially enjoyed spending time at the beach.
Surviving are her daughter, Heather Snead of Burlington and son Phillip Andrew Snead Jr. and his wife Tara Snead of Virginia Beach, Va.; two sisters, Teresa Watson of Burlington and Dawn Robinson Chester and her husband Elijah of Burlington; brother, Ronnie Robinson of Burlington. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents Charles and Maude Beauford; her mother, Doris Robinson, Burlington, and brother, Chuck Robinson, Burlington.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Pine Ridge Church at 904 E. Main Street, Haw River. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until service time at the church.
The "Celebration of Life" gathering will be at noon at the home of Heather Snead, 1907 Deep Creek Church Road, Burlington.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Williams Funeral and Cremation Services for funeral expenses.
