BURLINGTON - Mrs. Annie Ruth VeHaun Cooper, 81, of 335 Isley Ave., died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013 at 3:59 p.m. at the Hospice Home of Burlington.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend to all. Mrs. Cooper was a member of Andrew's Memorial Baptist Church, enjoyed traveling with her family to the Smokey Mountains and loved her dog, Sheba.
Survivors include her husband, Frank Cooper, of the home; daughter, Wanda Jarvis and husband Richard of Canton, Ohio; brother, Charles M. VeHaun of Georgia; one grandson; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles H. VeHaun and Cora Minton VeHaun; and a brother, Hershel VeHaun.
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 14, 2013 at the McClure Funeral Home in Graham and at other times at the residence.
A Home-going Service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013 in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by Dr. Tommy Willis and the Rev. Brandon Rouse. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
