GREENSBORO - Mr. Aubrey William Vincent, 91, of 1720 Huffine Mill Road, passed away Friday, July 12, 2013 at 2:56 p.m. at Beacon Place.
He was the son of Joseph Vincent Sr. and Alice Graves Vincent, both deceased, and the husband of the late Doris Mae Shaw Vincent.
He is survived by three sons, W. Anthony Vincent (Doris), Aubrey D. Vincent and Stahle B. Vincent (Jacqueline), all of Greensboro; sister, Olivia Vincent Ivy of Washington, D.C.; sisters-in-law, Louise Donnell of Greensboro and Esther Ruth Rice of Bronx, N.Y.; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of other special relatives and friends.
The public viewing will be held from 1 until 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hargett Funeral Service in Greensboro.
His funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at 12:30 p.m. at Laughlin Memorial UMC with Pastor George Coates officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery where military rites will be performed.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the church, and at all other times at the home of W. Anthony Vincent, 500 Callan Drive, Greensboro.
