PROSPECT HILL - Betty "Babe" Wade Gray, 73, of 2864 Egypt Rd., Prospect Hill, died Saturday, November 16, 2013, at her residence.

Born in Caswell County, Mrs. Gray was the daughter of the late Harvey Banks and Ella Loftis Wade and wife of the late Frank Edward Gray. Mrs. Gray retired from Burlington Industries after 44 years and was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Gray is survived by her daughter, Peggy Gray Webster, of Prospect Hill; her son, Larry Edward Gray and wife Shari, of Burlington; three brothers, Banks Wade, of Prospect Hill, Frank Wade, of Leasburg, Bobby Wade and wife Sherry, of Mebane; five sisters, Anna Mae Kendrick, of Prospect Hill, Pauline Martin and husband Henry, of Roxboro, Louise White and friend Larry, of Reidsville, Janie Kendrick, of Leasburg and Nancy Jones and husband Billy, of Alton, VA; five grandchildren, Tyler Webster, Trevor Webster, Larry Gray, Jr. and wife Latashia, Bryan Gray, Braeden Gray; one step-grandson, Aston Baker; one great-grandchild, Aubrey Ashley; one step-great-grandchild, Elizabeth Perkins.
Funeral services will be held 2PM, Tuesday, November 19, 2013, at Brooks & White Chapel by the Rev. Bobby Tate. Burial will follow in Cooper Cemetery. Visitation will be held 6-7:30PM, Monday, Brooks & White Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Paul Gregory, Jerry Wright, Lonnie Watson, Kurt Watson, Roger McCarter, and Doug Painter.
