SNOW CAMP - Mrs. Betty Horner Mann, 76, of 5161-F Mt. Hermon-Rock Creek Road, died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2012 at 7:40 a.m. at Alamance Regional Medical Center following several years failing health and two weeks critical illness.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and enjoyed the closeness of family. Mrs. Mann attended Burlington Assembly of God. Singing was one of her loves and she and her husband had a singing program on TCT Channel 16 called Amazing Grace in the mid 1980's. She retired from General Electric with numerous years of service and was an avid animal lover, loving all types, which always put a smile on her face.
She is survived by her husband, Luther Edward Mann; son, Perry Lopez and wife Beth; stepdaughter, Valarie M. Taylor; grandchildren, Meagan L Nicholson and husband Jeremy, Nicholas C. "Nick" Lopez, Carson Lopez and Natalie Lopez; brothers, Donald Horner and wife Becky, Bobby Horner and wife Sally; Richard Horner, Tim Horner and wife Lisa, Jeff Horner and wife Joanna; and many loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter E. and Mary Joyce Foushee Horner; and stepson, Michael Edward Mann.
A memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012 in the McClure Funeral Home Chapel in Graham by the Rev. Howard Thompson and Mr. Cameron Horner. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home and immediately following the service at the residence of her brother, Bobby Horner, 1511 Wedgewood Drive, Graham, N.C.
